Your Go To, Human Centred Designer!

Storytelling is one of the most powerful means that one has to influence, teach and inspire. It forges connections among people, and between people and ideas! But to be a great storyteller, one needs to engage, listen and understand their audience. That is the essence of where my passion stems from.

Connecting with people has been my life. Before transitioning into UX Design, I was a search consultant. I spent 8 years working with professionals by understanding their motivations, career goals, behaviours, and pain points in an effort to identify an opportunity that provides a better platform for their career growth.

There was one BIG problem, I had no room to innovate, create or tailor a solution for my client’s needs. I was limited by the job openings available in the marketplace, which limited my ability to provide an ideal solution to my client.

Ultimately, my frustration lead me to UX Design. It was refreshing to hear how the profession focuses on empathy for the user in order to design a solution that is tailored to them. In turn, enabling me to provide quality service to my clients as I leverage my storytelling skills to connect them to my ideas by taking a human centred approach!
